All mentioned stops can be reached by bus lines 641, 643 and 646.
Both the monastery grounds with the museum center and the visitor information center (Freilichtlabor Lauresham) are accessible at ground level and barrier-free. Each is located in traffic-calmed areas. The walking distance between the two places is about 760 m.
Marked disabled parking spaces are available at the parking lot in the Nibelungenstraße and signposted (input in the automotive navigation system: "Nibelungenstr 12").
Other marked disabled parking spaces can be found in the car park behind Volksbank Bergstraße, Bahnhofstr. 15-17.
The paths from the car parks to the monastery grounds, the museum center and the Freilichtlabor Lauresham are paved / paved and largely flat.
Wheelchairs / folding chairs
Wheelchairs and folding chairs, which can also be used as walkers, can be borrowed free of charge at the ticket offices in the museum center and visitor center of the open-air laboratory, subject to availability, and are to be handed over there again.

The museum center and visitor information center (entrance to the Freilichtlabor Lauresham) have a stepless access. The same applies to the cash desks and the museum shops.
Garderrobe / Lockers
Museum Center: in the entrance area of the Paul Schnitzer Hall there are lockers.
Visitor information center: opposite the cash desk there are lockers, which are also accessible for wheelchair users.
Assistance / Guide Dogs
Guided dogs are allowed in the monastery grounds, museum center and Freilichtlabor Lauresham. For advance reservations, the takeaway must be announced in advance.
First Aid boxes are located at the ticket offices and in all rooms of the Museum Center and the Visitor Information Center.
The terrain is flat to slightly hilly and accessed by wheelchair accessible, paved paths and open to the public. This also applies to the herb garden, the remains of the church, the tithe barn and the royal hall. The interior of the Königshalle can only be reached via a spiral staircase.
Museum Center ("Museumszentrum")
All floors of the museum are accessible by lift. For wheelchair users there is enough space between the exhibits. The rooms of museum education are reachable at one level or by elevator, except for two.
Freilichtlabor Lauresham / Visitor Information Center
The terrain is flat and accessed via water-bound paths. Except for the pit houses, all buildings are accessible at ground level. The site is below the access road level, but is accessible to wheelchair users via a ramp-shaped design of the visitor information center. The rooms of museum education are all accessible at ground level and barrier-free.
