The UNESCO World Heritage Lorsch Abbey is part of the Verwaltung der Staatlichen Schlösser und Gärten Hessen.
Our core functions include research, conservation, and presentation of the heritage that played such a significant role in the state's history.
In order to build up our international relations and to increase the knowledge about German World Heritage Sites, Lorsch Abbey offers eight-week internships to undergraduates from all over the world.
Our internships provide training and practical experience in different fields such as archaeology, administration, organizing exhibitions, pedagogical activities, tourism, cultural projects and public relations. Eligible applicants should be currently enrolled undergraduates. Good command of English or German is necessary.
Our internships are not paid. Interns provide their own transportation. Housing is free. In exceptional circumstances financial support is possible and can be asked for.
